Florence and the Machine set to release album number two
Florence And The Machine lead singer Florence Welch stated she's taken to science to determine the style of the band's next album.
Florence and the Machine told NME that they are working with a new producer, and that their new song, 'Cosmic Love', is the story of a scientific teaching that her dad had once told her.
It was a lesson I heard from my father Welch stated. "It's actually the name of the two particles that formed are when someone split the atom, so I wrote a song around it. I even managed to fit the word 'hydrogen' in there. Isn't that a nice thing for scientists to call them though? - it's so unscientific and human." A lot of Florence and the machine's lyrics are strange as seen in Cosmic Love Lyrics and other songs. They are also quite similar to Marina and the Diamonds
Explaining the sound she's trying to create on the next up to 2009 debut 'Lungs', Welch explained that she's started writing songs on the guitar again, as she did on debut single 'Kiss With A Fist'. She also met with Ellie Goulding, maybe and Marina and the Diamonds they will perform together. Underground Music Blog
"The guitar is coming back - I've gone full circle!" she said.
In other interviews, Welch said that despite the accomplished feel of 'Lungs', they are not feeling the pressure in terms of releasing the new album.
I've got new ground to cover The next year is really just the band continuing further and making something new and fresh. What isnt there to like?
